Sorry if I appeared "smug". Actually from a near-simultaneous post elsewhere, I quoted myself as venturing an opinion that when all is said and done, technical analysis in the case of thinly-traded, penny stocks is nearly useless. BYX is not a penny stock, but it sure is thinly traded.

What caused me to leap in here was the sudden appearance of someone on the thread who offers no specific information but just spews a pile of cheerleading. I was even more suspicious that a hypster might be involved when I looked at the list of other messages he has sprayed around in various threads. In short, my BS-detection antennae went up.

I view with equal disdain both the hyping cheerleaders and the bad-mouthing shorts *whenever* either group posts something as near fact without giving anyone else the rationale or benefit of their thought process.

I notice that BYX was up again nicely today.

And I still am looking for some way to identify the costs of scrap steel, preferably something which looks similar to an index so that we can see how well it correlates to the eps at BYX.

Any ideas?
