Thanks Jesse..Don't worry about the Olivine suggestion ,as that's also what immediately came to mind. You aren't starting any rumours of kimerlite proof! <g>.
About the kim being hard... I thought they were softer and therefore subject to erosion causing some alluvial diamonds to drift away and pipes to be found under small lake or is that just up North (Snap Lake)? Also I thought this land has virtually no glacial overburden drift , so is it not possible we've got "the bare necessities"...so to speak? Thanks for your input as I'm sure I need all the help I can get!
