Sir, read my post. I have no problem with the internet for DD. SI is useful. Real Time Quotes, online brokers, free technical analysis sites (ie:CBS marketwatch), and SEC filings are invaluable. Yahoo message boards are not. (Nothing against Yahoo, that's where I get my mail.) That's how I do most of my DD, though I also tend to call the company before I buy.

If you "made $800" from following tips on Yahoo then you've been lucky.

Buddy, I think you got burned by a 15 year old!!!
Hey I'm only 20 myself, but I recognize it as a liability, not a crutch to use in debate. People on SI are experienced compared to both of us, but their generally willing to help (BTW: Did you get the PM I sent you explaining what a market maker is?) But do what you feel comfortable with, it doesn't matter to me either way. If you're trying to start a flame war then let's take it to e-mail. I have no interest in making a fool of myself in front of people I respect.

-Tony

Brad--The internet is an awesome tool for doing DD, but a Yahoo message board is like taking a bath in a sewerage treatment plant.

Nothing but hype/bashing/ garbage. SI is like a chat room with Warren Buffet and Peter Lynch by comparison.
