Addi.

With the NASDAQ dropping 26 pts and DOW shoot pass 9000 today,
what is your take on this? Is this a temporary thing? Or once
the earnings go out in mid April, we will see the same kind of
euphoria we saw in the 1st 3 months of this quarter? What is
the good price to get SUNW, DELL, INTC? I sold all my SUNW at
44.5, DELL at 68 and INTC at 77. I lost money on INTC only since
my average price was around 82.5 for INTC, but INTC was my smallest
holding. I just used the money I made in DELL (about 300k) in a
450K house payment. I only have about 100K left to invest
in stock now. And I am 100% cash at this point. Good thing I don't
have to tap in my 401K money for the house payment. But I have to
think small now with only 100K to invest. The stocks that I am
interested in right now are: SUNW, INTC, MSFT, ORCL, CSCO and DELL,
they are kind of the dominant players in their respective market.
But I have vowed to not touch them until SUNW hits 36, INTC hits 65,
MSFT at 75, CSCO at 55 and DELL at 61, ORCL at 22. Besides DELL, INTC, and SUNW,I don't think I could get MSFT and CSCO that cheap now. What do you think of IOM at below 5? What is the bottom for SUNW? INTC? ORCL? MSFT? CSCO? DELL?
ORCL?

It's a buying opportunity! I hope it goes lower so I can buy more! It's just consolidating at lower levels! It's taking a rest before heading higher! Nobody's getting my shares! It's the MMs again, yeah, that's it! It's the MMs and the shorts. Yeah, that's the ticket, it's professional short sellers loading up for the decline that will never materialize. Yeah, that's the ticket!

Dear twister: Please tell me you know where I can find some experts
in dynamic compiler optimization technology? The Java developers are
starting to get VERY angry about when our hotspot technology will be
ready.

From comp.lang.java.advocacy:

********************************************************************
"I share the same frustrations as several who have posted on to this
newsgroup about the quality of the code coming from JavaSoft. We
have been massively disappointed by JFC 1.0's quality, which in my
opinion is so slooooow that its basically unusable. I challenge
anyone to do any serious work with JFC 1.0's table. Even on a 200 Mhz
Pentium or on a 200 Mhz Ultra 2 it can take up to two seconds for a
row to highlight (!!!!?). We have decided to revert back to KL Group's
Widgets - which may not look as slick as JFC 1.0 - but they're stable
and their performance is acceptable (read 10 times faster than JFC
1.0!).

What is particularly disappointing is that JavaSoft's parent (Sun) has
a reputation for producing good, conservative products that generally
kick ass. If SunSoft produced the same dreck that JavaSoft is
producing there would not be many of us using their products in
mission critical systems. I know nothing of JavaSoft's mamangement -
but clearly there has been some disconnect for it to have focused
entirely on features and forgetting that ppeople are trying to get
work done with their products. Another case in point has been
HotSpot - a product that JavaSoft has been hyping for almost a year
now. Offically they are saying to wait for the fall - but others in
the know have told me it could be much later than that.

Sun - and JavaSoft have sold us a vision. They damn well better start
producing on this vision or this advocacy group will be a lot smaller
in a year's time."
