Michael,

I see no reason for a rally based on these numbers. The Zack's estimate consensus was for $0.30 without the special charges, so they really missed. It looks like a managed number, since this was about half of the pre-warnings estimates. Aside from that, the prediction of a flat second quarter doesn't inspire confidence.

I think it could be a tough day tomorrow. I got in at $55, before the warning, and dodged out at 61 on Thursday to avoid the earnings uncertainty. I hate the suspense!

Anyway, I am looking for an entry point again, and I think something around $50 will be possible within the next month.

JMHO,
GENE

Mike,

I agree, Japan is sitting on 600 billion in non performing loans. How many cars is detroit going to sell when the yen hits 140 and a lexus costs the same as a ford taurus? Everone is dismissing Asia. I say look out. The S&P earning have been revised down to 4 percent for the year. How will that support a 13 percent rise in the Dow let alone a S&P p/e of 28. Maybe fundamentals don't matter but I can't believe there are THAT many idiots in the market. Then again a lot of Yahoo's are buing Yahoo at 60 times SALES! Your thoughts Kris
