No prices are definite since the chip is at least a year away from actual sales, but here are some preliminary numbers. $5,000 for the version with integrated L2 cache (ala PPro) and $1,000 for version with seperate L2 cache (ala PII). Seems like a large price discrepancy for perhaps 4 MB in L2 cache, but that's what's written. I got this from VLSI Microprocessors at www.ssd.sscc.ru/library/cpu. It's a pretty good site for a quick overview on a lot of chips. Regards.
