CAMDEN, N.J. (8/1/96) AmeriResource Technologies Inc. received a letter of interest from the City of Camden, N.J., stating that they will provide their full cooperation in the development of a 2-acre hydroponic farm and 1 acre of aquaculture to be constructed and operated within the Camden Empowerment Zone.
The site selection will be finalized within the next few weeks.

The total construction cost of the first phase will be approximately $6.5 million. The development will be developed jointly with Future Farm USA and Hypertech.

When complete, the project is expected to employ up to 100 people. Financing for the project is expected to come from both the private and public sectors.

ARET is currently working with a Wall Street investment banking firm to arrange a portion of the financing. In addition, the City of Camden will assist in arranging public financing through various sources.
