JerryF Be damned careful. If you haven't shorted before do so on paper for a while. There are always dogs around to hit. You are thinking about initiating a short in a major bull market and if you don't know the game you can get hurt. Shorting has some funny rules and nasty tricks. I don't mean to imply you are not market sharp or savvy (your recent ten day play is better than anything I have done of late), I am just saying one can know all the tricks and all the rules and get hurt doing this.
