Be damned careful. If you haven't shorted before do so on paper for a while. There are always dogs around to hit. You are thinking about initiating a short in a major bull market and if you don't know the game you can get hurt.
Shorting has some funny rules and nasty tricks. I don't mean to imply you are not market sharp or savvy (your recent ten day play is better than anything I have done of late), I am just saying one can know all the tricks and all the rules and get hurt doing this. Start small and start carefully. And welcome to the dark side, it is fun.
All the Best
