Products are distributed and sold internationally. Split Alert The splits game has been very attractive for many of the large-cap momentum stocks... Zeneca fits the bill... Stock, up 27.1% year-to-date, splits 3-for-1 on Wednesday... Has been running in anticipation of the split, as stock added more than 3% on Friday. After split, look for stock to get a 10%-15% pop. Zeneca is also an oft rumored takeover candidate... Rumored suitors are SmithKline Beecham and Glaxo. Despite strong advance over past two years, stock trading at 32.7x estimated FY98 earnings of $4.20 and 27.4x projected FY99 results of $5.01 (+19.9%)... Earnings figures are on a pre-split basis.
