Floyd.....Thanks for the segue out of there. <G>

I would like to make a "Thread-Check" on a few bits of information I heard last week.

First, that Toshiba has a production model available of a 7" or 8" low-temperature polysilicon display.

Second, that a fully-depreciated 12.1-inch laptop display fab can be refurbished to produce low-temp polysilicon displays, for about 20% of the cost of a new fab (i.e.; say, $40M, instead of building new for $200M).

Third, that the only Korean fab that has made significant capital investment so far this year, did so to convert from 12.1-inch laptop displays, over to smaller low temperature polysilicon displays.

Fourth, that Sharp has just announced a faster way to switch the LTPSI display, which will increase the resolution and grey scale, etc.

And finally, that the production cost of OLED's is materially less than any competing display technology, in the markets where it can be used.

This is all just stuff I have heard. Unsubstantiated at present. Can any of it be better explained, or confirmed, by the good and informed technical portion of this Thread ???
