I definitely don't recall the rumors sites touting profits in this
way last year. I remember a few vague references at some of the lower
trafficked Mac sites, but nothing like I'm seeing now. So far, a least
3 Mac sites have touted profit numbers from 50-100 million, in
addition to Mac The Knife's recent mention in MacWEEK. I think the
chances of Apple coming in at lower than expected numbers are almost
nil.

There are only six trading days before Q2 report (April 10, Good
Friday, market close). Whether or not the result will be as predicted
is never known, but it's going to be quiet time from now to 4/15.
I believe your elaboration regarding the prediction.

DJI has reached over 9000. The overall market seems very hot.
However, the tech stocks were a little weak today. Apple seems to
have good temporary support at $26.25. The weak morning start and
late rally are always Apple's pattern recently. I think we will
continue to have similar pattern until after reports.
