Exactly! That's exactly why my attention really perked up when Saltbox gave the information about the cell phones in his report.

This is something that even Ma & Pa Jones can really appreciate! No fear of someone overhearing their conversations....especially if Pa Jones is making a date with Mrs. Whittle down the street. <g>

For the rest of us cell phone users, it will be a marketing ploy. The
sales guy will say "and when you buy this phone, no one can eavesdrop on
your conversation." I believe that eventually, that will become a
standard feature.

BBruin i LIKE your scenario and admit I am NOT familiar with the encription technology. How would this differ from the digital phones out now that CLAIM to be "secure"
