Dwight, I am not getting my data from anywhere in particular. I have done a web search for the percentage of Americans who are Christians, and nothing comes up. I did find this information, however:

In 1993, 63% of Americans believed in the existence of angels

More Americans turn out for worship in one month than attend all professional sports functions combined all year!

Three out of four Americans do not believe that public references to the "birth of Christ and Christmas" should be avoided in businesses,
schools, and other public venues in order to keep from offending non-Christian Americans during this holiday season.

Only 20% of those asked in a Gallup poll conducted December 18-21 believe that the religious overtones of the holiday are sufficiently offensive to non-Christians as to preclude public celebrations of the season's religious origins.

If you don't believe most Americans are Christians, why don't you try to prove that? I think the statistics I was able to find logically indicate that most people are.
