did you read the HMTT announcement of 7.2 gig/platter with Headway Inc. MR heads? its on the HMTT thread. Who is Headway, and they say this head is produceable using today's technology. possible target for RDRT and APM? looks private...

As we see a capital spending slow down buy Japanese semiconductor giants, is it also likely to see slow downs from Japanese head makers? Could a capital crunch give any possible advantage to RDRT? It seems unlikely to me, but.....
