IBM may surprise on the upside, but smart money will be selling. Those earnings will likely come from deferred earnings from prior periods. Closely examine upcoming revenues to find the real progress for the quarter. I'd be surprised if smart money managers don't look through the accounting glaze into real quality earnings which should remind them of other tech stocks like Motorola.

Very big upside surprise in store for the upcoming quarter. I retract my previous comments about smart money managers selling. After speaking with the company's IR, I now expect an excellent quarter.
