sounds to me like you did it by the book. Aren't we always told never to try to pick the bottom? Wait until the market has turned around and is trending back up? From clicking on your profile, it appears that you have spent a considerable amount of time trading out in the "real" world. So I think the short answer is yeah, you probably have to go to the booby hatch ;o]

max90, There still is a lot of value in gold stocks, I added to my portfolio of gold stocks last Friday. My main focus at this point in time is to accumulate gold stocks that are highly leveraged to the price of gold ie. South African gold mining stocks to take advantage of the current upswing. Good luck on your investment, at least you didn't buy an internet stock.
