Alex,

Buy good stocks and hold long long term, patience is the weapon to win in this game.
Let me give you a story . In 1995, when everyone on the street thought it is the end
of US bank industry due to all the bad loans of US bank from South America, someone bought 10000 shares of CitiCorp at the price of $15. Since then, he hold the stock tight, no matter what , he did not sell a single share of the stock. Today, the
worth of that 10000 shares is $1.8 million dollars. This is a true story.
Just ask yourself the following questions:

1) Do you think CPQ will continue its lead in the computer industry in the years to
come ?
2) Do you think CPQ will file Chapter 11 in the next ten years ?
3) Do you think CPQ is the most under value stock in the high tech sector ?
4) Do you agree the merger with DEC will strengthen CPQ in the enterprise business?

If you agree all those above positively and had the patience to hold it for at least ten years,
then, now it is the best chance to buy this stock at this price. You never know what will happen after April. It may shoot up like it did in 1997, and only time will tell.
But , if you are a long term player, you will never lose and win big to hold this one at this price .
