You're right - SIEB is being run up by folks who are buying it because it's going up. Who can pass up an easy buck? It certainly isn't being bought by buy & holders. It's *way* beyond anything resembling fair value, and the rocket will eventually fall back down to earth.

The question being, will Datek let me hold on to the borrowed shares until that time? We'll see .... It's certainly a dangerous (& foolish, perhaps) game.

I don't think SIEB will be trading x-div until Wed - though I hope I'm wrong. The sooner the split's over with, the sooner it will fall.
