I'm saying that some Christians do take every word of the Bible as gospel, and some Christians do not. Certainly since there is a difference of opinion within the Christian community itself about this, I find it a little peculiar that some Christians believe only they have The Answers. And I have respect for all belief systems as long as the people who believe in them do not impose them on others, or believe that people who believe differently are evil, or less moral and ethical than believers. I also have a problem with people who use their belief systems to hurt or oppress others.
