Yesterday's news about Netstream 2 and today's news about Sony design win is really nothing new to those who have been following this company. In comparison to previous releases on Netstream 2 I noticed a few more new partners added like Intel, Compaq, DEC and some other ones that were not there before. This company needs publicity and their partners using Sigma's Netstream 2 solution at NAB 98 is bringing the much needed publicity and recognition to the company. I think this company is not well known among analysts and financial institutions, and thus releases like another Sony design win and Netstream 2 demonstration at NAB 98 might have gotten some attention from financial community (at least I hope).
