About the Stock Split.

From their website:

BOARD OF DIRECTORS' DIVIDEND PROPOSAL

The Board of Directors will propose to the Annual General Meeting a
dividend increase of 40 percent to SEK 3.50 per share (2.50).

In addition, the Board of Directors proposes that at the end of May,
after distribution of dividends, a bonus issue of 1-for-1 is made,
whereby one new share is received for each old share held. The par
value of the shares will remain at SEK 2.50. The bonus issue will
increase the capital stock amount from SEK 2436m. to SEK 4872m.
through transfer from restricted reserves.

Hope this puts to rest the stock split questions.
Your pizza now has 8 slices instead of 4. It's irrelevant.
The dividend increase and the rise in stock is the real news.

David, the announcement states "...at the end of May, after the distribution of dividends..." This split was approved at Ericsson's AGM.
I hope this helps.
