Gabriel Resources was also mentioned in Canaccord's Scavenger List #2. This included asset-rich juniors, who were under valued. I believe this was issued back in December. This is what Canaccord had to say: At the time GBU was trading at .95, with 22.6 M shares issued, and 31.3 f.d. They had a working capital of $2.3 M, or $.10/share. Gabriel has started a 30,000 m drill program and feasibility study on the 2,000 year old Rosia Montana mine project in Romania. Gabriel can earn up to an 80% interest in this epithermal gold deposit. Management has stated that the 2.4 M oz. resource could grow to 100.0 M tonnes grading 2g/t Au and 16g/t Ag in an open pit. 15.0 M vendor shares come free April 1998. I also E-mailed Peruvian a few basic questions. They told me that they plan on drilling their Peruvian properties in the near future. In response to my question about the Ollachea title dispute they told me, the five mining officials in charge of the Ollachea title met and unanimously agreed to return the title to them.ÿ They are still waiting for the official certificate so that they can resume working on this prospect. And they also told me the drill rig(Rosia Montana) is operating slowly and the problems are being addressed.
