PK,
I'm told that about 80% of ESV's drilling is natural gas projects.

North Sea Brent as of 7am ET is down $0.24. Could not get NY overnight trade update.

I wonder why the Saudi story did nothing to boost oil price. Must be a non-event and traders treat it as just another lips service.

As to ESV maybe we will see a rather strong turnaround from individual investors eager to snap up bargains. Marv the reporter must have connection to the traders to find out news like that and added her own interpretation. What is unknown is if there are other bad news other than this contract thing. Anyway, I'll buy ESV as well if there is a turnaround and the whole group remains intact.

SLB is down 1.6% but that was a carryover from NY trading rather than new weakness in Europe.

CXIPY is down over 2% and seems there is some new weakness.
