Ed,

Some answers to your questions.

Question: "Does Konrad take calls and discuss his selections with subscribers?"
Answer: Frankly, I'm not sure. I called them once during working hours and got an answering machine. I didn't leave a message for them to call back. I think they spend days out researching companies.

Comment: "I have his write up on DCI from Sept., and it was one of the reasons I purchased."
Response: Although I had picked up a few shares the month before, it was the primary reason for me adding to my position also. Just in case some people haven't read it, I've included a link to the KonLin write-up on DCI (Bruce G., you might want to consider putting this in the thread header also):

dcic.com

Question: "I am not a member of his service and I heard that he had dropped DCI from his list of stocks. Can you confirm for me if he is still positive on DCI."
Answer: I subscribed to KonLin after the write-up on DCI. One of the main reasons I did was because he continues to follow his picks for a period of time with buy/sell/hold recommendations. They were extremely bullish on DCI in the Oct., Nov., and Dec. letters. In Jan. and after our dive in late Nov./Dec, they said we were a victum of the Asian flu but said it presented a buying opportunity. In Feb., they again said we were undervalued and recommended buying. Finally, in the March letter they say anything at all about us.

Personally, I attributed the lack of coverage in March to the fact all they could do was repeat the same stuff again. We'd been languishing for over two months and I wouldn't have had anything new to say either (other than to talk about "big seller(s) holding us down" :-)). If they wanted people to sell, they would have said so. I think it will be interesting to see what they say in April's copy, even though they won't have known about the recent acquisitions (/LOIs) at press time. I usually receive my letter the 5th/6th/7th of the month (I might have already received my April copy but I'm on the road so haven't seen it).

The apologetic bad guy (George E.) also subscribes and may have called them before (?). Their telephone number is at the end of the DCI write-up but I suggest only one person call and summarize what they have to say here. Personally, I'm going to be out all day so can't do it.

One thing you can bet the farm on, though, is when we hit anything over $5 or $6 or $10 (!), they'll write about us again! They'll probably even take credit for it :-).

Something that might be worth mentioning is I don't think they've ever talked about us being a M&A company that is building itself up with a goal of being sold.

Hope that helps. Gotta go.

Dan

Ed: Konlin makes no mention of DCTC in either its March or April issues. I have tried to call them. Got an answering machine. Left messages. No return call. George E.
