<<<< In both cases they will be able to detect abnormal tissue but they are not able to determine if it is cancerous without a biopsy.

........i did read all of your questions from nightingales--sounds like a good group.

.......how do you know that the laser has no algorithm for differentiating malignant from non-malignant tissue?. if you are right--that would give coii a tremendous advantage over laser.

.......please let me know how you came to that conclusion. if you are right, and there is no other nearby competitor, this stock could be a great speculative buy.

...thanks in advance

Can you address the question of how the thermal imaging of the surface skin can identify problems deeper in the tissue?

Barbara,

Could I suggest that you start a thread devoted to companies primarily devoted to the detection and treatment of breast cancer?

This would include companies with 1) products for screening - both the genetic testing for those women at high risk, and for companies which might come out with a blood test to screen women, similar to the work with prostate cancer; 2) those with products for imaging - mammography is the current, thermal, laser or others may be coming in the future; and 3) those with products for treatment - minimally invasive surgery, or medications which might succeed tamoxifen.

I'm approaching you about this because it appears you have done a great deal of research in the field. I have an interest in it both for investment and altruistic reasons, but don't know much about it at this point. Public awareness is increasing rapidly, and I think a thread which educates us about those companies with good potential, and those which are scams would be very helpful.

Bob
