I tend to agree assuming all that has been printed is in fact accurate. In most jurisdictions, ignorance of the law is no excuse. In this case, it would appear to be ignorance of the need to register.

If they (the company) didn't do it, and the time limitation ran out (expired), then I fail to see how they (the company)have any legitimate claim?

It would appear to be a classic nuisance suit and I would love to see SUF counter sue and for costs.
