Denise,

Several months ago, The ASE & VSE Advisor, published by the Lombardi Group, had a speculative long-term buy recommendation for Gemcom @ 1.00. It still looks like a good company in the long term IMHO.

I believe you can subscribe to the newsletter via their web site www.lombardipublishing.com

Forgive the silence - the item went into a black hole - I guess.
Essentially, I recollect writing that my due diligence work last year showed(a) it is a solidly-managed co., (b)they at are skilled at what they do, (c) management has a big position retained in the company. I did not subscribe at $1 - but bought in recently at 85cents. I was expecting that they would spend a good whack of the financing on soft costs. Which would hit the EPS ( as it did) - and which would present a buying opportunity.
I do not think they are into aggressive promotion of their stock - so I regard it as a trading buy anytime at 85cents. It is also a hold for earnings propelled stock gains. Don. 1998net should be way better than 1997. Don.
