Hello I am new to this thread, and I have a question regarding a past post here, having to do with Insurance coverage for this procedure. In light of recent announcements I would think that the Insurance Companies would love it, reducing unnecessary surgery. Any insights or comments would be welcome. T. Lienau

There was an announcement late last summer that the scanner could be outfitted with an accessory "box" that would allow it to do real time CT fluoroscopy. They mentioned applications in vascular surgery.

Glad to have you on board. Your expertise is needed.
