Another funny one. For a while in LA, I lived on a street called Earl Street. It was like Lombard Street in SF except it was straight. I'm talking really steep. One morning it was raining. I suddenly heard this woman screaming at the top of her lungs. This is a bad sign in LA, it usually means a felony. I ran out of the house to the street, and saw a brand new Honda (nobody in it) sliding backwards down the street. The woman was actually a guy, and he was standing at the top of Earl Street watching his car recede from his viewpoint. Seems the rain had made its way under the wheels and the car had just decided to go down the hill on its own. It got to the bottom, went across a very busy cross street, and slid gently into the opposite curb. No damage.
