Steve,

I don't seem to be able to get quotes from
the Rio Exchange (the official site shows only
yesterday's prices..)
Do you know how to do this?
Victor

--------------From Agencia Estado

Although local bourses were not expected to trade positively as they did
on Monday because, according to analysts consulted by Agˆncia Estado
this morning, "the reasons that made local stocks finish up yesterday are
not present today", Bovespa is trading higher at the moment on
expectations of a good inflow of capital. However, traders still claim that
pre-options-adjustment maneuvers should set the tone for local stocks
today and one should not be surprised if Bovespa presents a lower trend
sometime during the day. The Ibovespa is now up 1.26% at 12,099 points.
Trading volume is at US$155.599m with some 9.414bn shares having
changed hands. The Rio de Janeiro Stock Exchange Index (IBV-RJ) is
slightly higher by 0.02% at 42,241 points. Telebr s PN/US$ down 0.69%
at R$144.50. Eletrobr s also down 0.36% at R$55.00. CVRD PN/US$
lower by 1.06% at R$27.90.
The US commercial dollar Ptax is now trading at R$1.1383/R$1.1381.
