Ken: Whether it is 401K money or not, as you know what keep the momentum going is cash and they keep pouring in.Actually like you said 401K money is better than any other type of funds as these are long term investors and indeed it will have not only a stabilizing effect but it will keep the positive momentum in tact as well.

Yes, even the mutuals which are nominally 'closed' continue to accept money from accounts established while they were still open.
