Bearcatbob,

Our outlooks are similar. The serious money will be made by buying and holding.I did some quick calculations on the dollar value per ton on hole 11 from Lejano. This 12 meter section at todays prices came out at $230 U.S.per ton!Pretty significant with low cost open pit potential.A couple of years ago International Curator were promoting a large tonnage low grade base metals deposit in Mexico and I believe the average dollar value per ton at that time was under $50 U.S.They calculated mining costs of $17 per ton.
Based on todays release we may not have to wait till this fall to see $4 for this stock.Yamana plans on drilling a few holes up to 100 meters deep.If future results are even half as good over a larger section... watch out. There is no doubt that a few of the majors are sniffing around pretty aggressively at this play. The geology is similar to Mexico's Pachuca-Real Monte deposit with 1.2 billion ozs of silver. If Yamana can block out $1billion of ore the undeveloped value to Yamana will be aproximately 15% of this or $150million divided by current amount of shares =$5.55 U.S per share for this deposit alone.Of course there will be future dilution with my guess a private placement probably soon after future results are released in June.Irregardless we just may see a $10 stock(Canadian dollars) by 1999.
