whats up w/ FGII? Just hit 33, showing big strength here today. Haven't seen this independent strength showing of fgii since last year.

PK,

Looks like ESV is forming a very nice "hammer" on the daily candle. Lots of buyers all day.

Isn't it always the way? ESV so far looking relatively very strong. I think it has hit the point where the bargain-hunting buyers have stepped forward. Maybe people figured the stock was already "hammered" enough (or "hatcheted" in the case of the Mavis article).

good luck,
Baird

I find ESV estimates for the 1st Q at $.58, compared to 1st quarter last year of $.26. At the current price of 26 1/2, that gives a 12 month trailing PE of 13.3, down from the current PE of 16 (assuming no earnings surprise). If ESV increases in price simply to reflect the current PE, the price would be about 33 1/4. Not a bad deal under those assumptions.

The only hammer I've seen is the one pounding on my head. Actually, another point on the OSX, and we do have a hammer. If we are strong into the close, maybe . . . .
