Well Ibexx, maybe so. But guess what? I'm laughing either way. I still own a good bit of Lucent as a core holding. I just like to realize some profit and get in lower. It's worked with me so far. I bought all my LU shares at $25 split adjusted. Sold half of them at $42, bought them back at $38, sold that half again at $60. So I still own the half that I bought at $25.

My strategy has been to have core holdings that you don't touch, but also to try to time the market with my play money just to satisfy my gambling urge (it's more lucrative than Vegas at least). So maybe I'm talking out of both sides of my mouth, but you have to admit, I've been pretty accurate with LU so far.
