This has been a really good day for LRL if one considers their historic price/volume charts. In the past, when the stock stalled in an upswing, volume dried up and then gravity ruled. But today, the buying was very strong, and the selling was orderly. Forming a base before the next move up? You betcha.

According to Budd Iwaschuk and at least one East Coast broker who is in regular communication with Luxor, the stall here and yesterday's "cap" were delicately orchestrated by the market-making powers-that-be in order to slow down momentum after last week's explosion and form a base from which the next move up will start from. This is all confirmed by the volume of trades which is growing on a daily basis. Just think, in the first week of April, Luxor traded more volume than in all of March. And in March was traded double the volume of January or February. This is a stock which is commanding an increasing amount of investor interest.

News is due out this week and next which, coupled with the strength in buying we have seen, should move this puppy to new 52-week highs. This is definitely NOT the same company as last year. And I think I speak for many of you when I say that I'm all for that!

I heard today, (dixit Budd), that there are currently 2700 reservations for the open house in the East which is an all-time record. If this turns out to be true, then we got a bunch more good stuff headin' our way this coming couple of weeks.

Meanwhile, IMAL is taking a break and heading out tomorrow to the Amazon for a 3 week "cruise". I'm taking a laptop along but only out of sheer optimism. Take care of Luxor while I'm gone.

I'll miss you guys!
