M31: <for $2567 from Dell!>

That message was from Canada, dorky. And the prices
must be in Canadian's $.

I don't see any indication that the message was from Canada. The URL
commerce.us.dell.com

seemed to indicate it was from the 'U.S.' (that means United States).

Can you clarify, please.

Hmmm....having a people-problem today?

In short, you missed the whole point: K6-300MHz.
Only 100Mhz (thats 33%) more and they'll be caught up with INTC. ;-)
And it costs more.:-(
Is this the new business plan IBM+AMD are trying to pawn off on buyers? It looks like its time to sell AMD.

My apologies, Mr. Chen, I didn't read the previous link to which you referred. What are the conversion rates Canadian to US, and subsequent prices for the AMD system?

(Sorry everyone for the duplicate posts)

Ali, re:"$2567 from Dell. . . That message was from Canada, dorky. And the prices must be in Canadian's $."

Suggest you post on the thread for the mathematically challenged:

Ali -- Re: <<That message was from Canada, dorky. And the prices must be in Canadian's $.>>

You're right again as always! I MUST be dorky for thinking in American terms since: 1) Silicon Investor is based in the United States and 2) IBM and AMD are American corporations and 3) the post was in English and 4) it used dollar signs. Looking back at it in retrospect, I can see now how absolutely clear you were about the post being Canadian. Those two letters in the URL -- how could I have missed them? What was I thinking? I'm so ashamed!!!!

<<In short, you missed the whole point...>>

No, you missed the whole point. I wouldn't want that piece of %#@! system even if it was free.

<<AK47>>

You wouldn't know what one was if it shot you in your #%!
