Adam Im on board! I looked up analysts rating of cnc 1.4 not bad.

This is a close recovery for me of the losses due to executives taking all the money and run. I believe the stock price gnt came down because the mrkt doesn't think its worth the $52 bucks. I figure the board of directors know a lot more than us.

Based on the acquisition agmt, unless I'm reading it wrong, the price of GNT ought today to be @ 91% of Conseco - or around $45 or so. Therefore, assuming that the acq. does go through and assuming that nothing else happens, the GNT should pick up another $5 just for being there... over time. Anybody have any other ideas why there is a discount? Today, GNT lockstepped with Conseco...
