"What is the conclusion after your observation in person? Do you believe G3/non-G3 products inventory were as low as you expected?"

My feeling is that non-G3s are still in good supply. Inventory at Apple's own warehouse may be low as some sources are reporting but I don't think that is the case at the retailer level. I saw no 6400/180/200...which is a very good sign. With the slower graphic system etc those were harder to sell. If most of the non-G3s have indeed been pushed into the channel and the inventory there is well managed (as oppose to being stuffed), I think it'll only take another quarter for most of the non-G3s to clear out. Thus by Q4 80-90% of units sold should all be G3 based.

BTW, there were plenty of G3 233/266 . There were no G3/300s or 9600s.
PowerBooks are definitely in short supply.
