(AOL & SI) One of the values of SI, is that its postings are regulated by everyone's unique identity. On AOL, one can create screen names at will, so there will be the potential for degraded discussion. Secondly, AOL has its own investing discussions already. Are the two communities compatible? Can the two merge?

Lastly, I don't think AOL will tolerate an AOL-short discussion like this. I have heard it's their policy to remove all anti-AOL postings on their message board.

I will also be upset if I start to see banner advertising on SI.
