I apologize.

In an effort to extract something meaningful from the tedious studies and books and historical information I have, I may have ended up with a post even more oblique and confusing.

The bottom line is that going long on equities on either of the two days preceeding almost every holiday is much more profitable than the rest of the year collectively. Good Friday isn't one of the best holidays for this effect, historically, but about average.
