It is difficult to carry on a discussion when some don't know the differences between how the various PCs are manufactured. Somehow, this business of building a PC based on an order in hand and the purchaser's account debited doesn't compute. Also, the order being finished and tested as an integrated unit at the point of origin as opposed to a reseller's shop in parts seems to be an alien concept. There is a Dell bear thread where these issues don't matter so I'm curious why some people waste their time here.

I'm pretty bullish on DELL longterm too, but you take it to another level. The bullish isolation you desire is not the smartest of ways to invest IMO.
