Heavenly Father: I lift up Paul and Lisa to you right now in Jesus name. I join with them in agreement concerning their future family. We add the extra dimension of unity and numbers to their request, for we Lord are your body, and your church and together we gather here to worship You. I ask you Lord to see them clothed completely in the righteousness that we have in Christ from the top of their heads to the bottom of their feet. Just so our prayers may not be hindered I ask you Lord to bring to mind any individual that we have ought against, and we forgive those individuals just as you have forgiven us. We ask you Lord to wipe our slates clean as we begin each day anew in Christ. Not seeking to draw attention to ourselves but only seeking to lift up the name of the LORD. Lord, in this most Holy of weeks, hear our cry's as you remember the pain and anguish you endured for our benefit on that dark day; and Lord keep mindful the one small request of Paul and Lisa; that your church would continue to grow internally as well as externally; for Lord I know in my heart they would be loving and caring and sensitive parents, just as you are so attentive to our every request. Amen.

Well, dear Paul, how wonderful you are here. We have two things now to pray about specifically, and both are very important. Grant is finding himself in a uniquely strange situation--he got saved in the middle of a wild happy college party phase. There are of course things about this that are far from perfect. It is perfect that he got saved now before he could trash his life up good wandering around on his own, or either drift so far from God that he would never find the hidden path back to Him. Please keep Grant in your prayers and we know that for every worldly situation He takes away, He always has something that we will be happier with in the first place. This of course is a complete mystery which no one understands until they live it. Also pray that Grant can both be a Witness and at this moment be in the world but not of the world, and be able to enjoy life more abundantly without falling in any traps set for him. Many, many traps will be set for him, for sure, and it is a balancing act which has been done many millions of times, and can and will be done again, to the Glory of God the Father. I don't think it was any different in 1200. Maybe things were even more fun in 1200, and they just wore different clothes. We'll never know until we all get together to talk it over. Something to keep in prayer. As for married couples having children, that seems like the most unselfish and normal prayer we could possibly pray out of millions of prayers. So, how could this possibly NOT be God's will? That's the only reason He tells people to get married and stay married--so children produced will be taken care of sanely. And it is written throughout that children are a blessing of the Lord. You are in a position to receive the blessing and you have done what God has laid out as His plan. You're married and you want children. This seems a very simple thing for God to do. FATHER GOD, FATHER OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST, WE COME TO YOU IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST TO ASK THAT THE SCRIPTURES OF BLESSING OF CHILDREN BE APPLIED TO PAUL AND LISA. IT IS WRITTEN THAT YOU WITHHOLD NO GOOD THING FROM THOSE YOU LOVE AND WHO LOVE YOU, SO YOU ARE NOT WITHHOLDING. WHATEVER SMALL MEASURE OF CHEMISTRY IS OFF, FATHER GOD, WE ASK DIVINE HEALING IN THEIR BODIES THAT THIS MOST NATURAL PROCESS YOU HAVE SET IN MOTION WILL COME TO PASS JUST LIKE BREATHING. IT IS WRITTEN THAT THE HOLY SPIRIT IS BREATH, AND WE ASK THAT YOU BREATH LIFE INTO THIS MARRIAGE WHICH IS IN YOUR PERFECT WILL. THIS IS SUCH AN EASY THING FOR YOU, FATHER GOD, AND IT IS WRITTEN THAT CHILDREN ARE AN INHERITANCE FROM THE LORD. IT IS WRITTEN THAT "THUS SHALL THE MAN BE BLESSED THAT FEARETH THE LORD." WE ASK IN JESUS' NAME THAT YOU REMOVE ALL MEDICAL HINDRANCE FROM PAUL AND LISA. WE ASK THESE THINGS IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIST, BELIEVING THAT YOU WILL ANSWER OUR PRAYERS IF WE PRAY AS YOU, PRECIOUS LORD JESUS, TOLD US TO. TO ASK THE FATHER IN YOUR NAME AND HE WILL DO IT. And as Jesus instructed us to pray: Our Father, which art in Heaven, Holy is your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on Earth, as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive one another. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the Kingdom and the Power and the Glory forever and ever. Amen.

Brother: Your prayer request reminds me of the one my wife and I had for the first seventeen years of our marriage. We, too, had problems having children. My wife had many miscarriages and we tried many medical procedures. This lasted for seventeen years. Finally one night while we were in church partaking of communion, the Lord spoke to me and told me that we would have a child. We were kneeling at the altar at church and that is when the Lord spoke to me very plainly. We were in the midst of another medical procedure and I was confident that the Lord was telling me that the procedure would work, so I left rejoicing. It was not until a few nights later that I told my wife of what the Lord had told me. It was then that she revealed that the Lord had spoken to her at the same time He had spoken to me and had also told her that we would have a child. Well you can imagine how we both rejoiced!! After the medical procedure was completed we went for a pregnancy test, both totally confident that the Lord's word would be fulfilled. You can imagine our disappointment when the test came back negative. We both asked how could it be when we were so sure that the Lord had promised us a child. We were very low for about two months. Little did we know that at the time the Lord had spoken to us while we knelt at the altar in our little church that there was this young woman half a world away in another country who was praying for the Lord to tell her what to do with this child she was carrying. She was single and scared. Several months after our disappointment in finding out that my wife was not pregnant, the Lord arranged for this young woman to come to the U.S. and stay with a Christian family and to give birth to her child. Word of the birth of this child and the young woman who was looking for a couple to adopt this precious child got to my wife and me through my brother-in-law who was in that town because he was attending seminary and studying for the ministry. We came the next day and then and there saw the Lord's Word made true in the face of our daughter. Our precious daughter is now four years old and her laughter is music in our house. Don't lose faith, Paul. The Lord is true to His word. It may take some time and you may misinterpret what his intentions are (as we did), but He is true to His word. Now I pray for you and your wife: Dear Lord, I pray that you will perform a miracle for Paul and his wife as you did for my wife and me. Lord, please provide for a child by giving the child the parents he/she needs and, Lord, please provide for Paul and his wife the child that they want. It will all be for your glory so they, too, may have a testimony of your power and the truth of your Word. Amen! In Christ, Tom
