I don't know still holding my full short but it doesn't want to go down 3. It will go back to under 60 (I hope) the run to 70+ was based on split fever and scared shorts.

Druid, AOL's much more liquid, has a much larger float, trades on the NYSE, and actually has some value. (I still think its odd also, though.)

Druid, AOL hasn't had such a dramatic move upwards as some of the other 'internet' stocks such as Yahoo, Lycos and the rest, so short term profit taking is less likely. I also believe it is perceived differently in that it's ability to bounce back quickly is proven. Its during these negative market environments that more shorts get pulled in to the AOL game, and unless one feels that this really is going to be a market correction, the short squeeze comes into play once the rotation of funds return to tech.
I personally think that there are much better 'internet' shorts than AOL ... but the next few days will be interesting. I think the market feels that a small pullback is needed and the Dow 9000 level is a natural break. Given the earnings problems with the techs, its natural that there should be profit taking during the earnings period ... where this takes AOL only time will tell. Come end of June I believe AOL will be higher than it is today. Come year-end, I'm not sure ...
