Good Mets win. I was surprised to see it still on when I got home last night. Their pitching really seems to be holding up! We really need some run production though. Oh well it's still very early in the season....

HUSKEY VERBALLY HARASSED BY CUBS FANS

(AP) - New York outfielder Butch Huskey said he had to listen to
a barrage of verbal insults from bleacher fans in Chicago during
the Mets' 3-2 win Tuesday over the Cubs. Huskey, who wears No. 42
in honor of Jackie Robinson -- he was grandfathered when all
teams retired the number last year -- would not repeat the taunts
but said they were racial in nature. "Stuff like that should be
on 'Jerry Springer,'" Huskey said. "It's not very ethical. I
don't care what anyone says, you're going to hear that stuff. You
just have to be able to laugh and try to have fun with them." He
didn't have any solutions for curbing the fans' behavior. "What
are you going to do? You can't monitor them like babies," Huskey
said.
