Datek is great. 9.99 per trade. Nice source of news, charts, research. I have a schwab and a Datek account and prefer to trade on Datek and buy and hold on schwab. Datek has a much better qoute system. Real time quotes are free.

Schwab has better customer service, other than that I don't see any reason to go with Schwab.

Datek is very frustrating for daytraders -- servers have been down twice for extended periods within the last week. I agree price can't be beat, but you should have a second account if you trade on the minute.

I've heard TMEX recommending E*Trade for fast executions.
