a perfect strangle is the symatenous buy and (short sell) risking the option premium betting on a move in one direction or the other in excess of the premium paid. It's a bet on volititily. the strangle comes into pay when the stock does not move and the option premiums evaporiate due the time decay. You scroe when the move in eighter direction is greater than the risk premium and the moving side hedge is lifted or closed out for an overall proift on the trade in excess of the combined option premiums expensed. The cheapest way to play is to bet short of coarse this is what set the clock and hense the strange as the premiums quickly evaporate. AMD volitility lend it's self an appropriate choice as the trading vehicle to accomidate such a stratedgy. Not recommended for the unskilled investor. Also an accounting nightmare. since Albert know what he is doing and can watch the screens allday here is the only one I recommed use this play.
