Duane, I hear you brother. I think when investors do a cursory scan
of DPMI and see the flat revenue growth in 97, they look elsewhere.

Well, the trick is to recognize that:

1)smaller chip geometeries are inversely proportional to cost(DPMI revs) of mask design.

2)shift of non-memeory chip design into the sub 0.25uM DUV lithography. These types of chips are more mask intensive.

Looks like DPMI's product mix will likely shift to meet these demands, yes?

So you get an increase in higher priced masks and more of them.

That spells an acceleration in top line growth due to a higher ASP
for masks. How the bottom line growth will look is difficult for me to say. Stuff like currency clouds the picture. I think it's safe to say there will be some concommitant bottom line growth in store.

Wall St. myopians will figure this out and dump their internet stocks
for a REAL company.<g>

I have no position. DPMI broke its 200dma, looks like it still
has some weakness. MOT news didn't help.
Any of you guys that got in last month and half can't be too unhappy.
Watching closely.........

Regards,

DKG

BTW: 200mm vs 300mm can you use the same mask? see #499.

If you can't it's another additive punch to DPMI's top line growth(IMHO)
