Do not sweat your Dell investment, this train will roll again, and the present battles will be forgotten but not the bears(gg) -- In Dixieland I'll take my stand, and live or die in Dixie.--- Michael Dell knows what that means, he is the glue that has has held the techs together ( or does someone think those warnings from cpq, intc, wdc, klac,or mot is doing it). He proved the worth of the Web for sales, to the great benefit of companies involved in building and using it. He has no intention of 'letting down' his hometown of Austin, the community, and his valuable employees by any negative comments on Thursday. All the new construction is an expense which Dell, with essentially no debt, can control without a negative impact on earnings. There was new construction throughout 1997, including the new (opened in June) Optiplex plant we toured, and complete remodeling of the older factory, etc. What happened to earnings then???? And still Dell could not meet the demand for products. But enough for a bit, when Dell is up another 20 points the bears are easier to digest(gggg) Sig
