Pastrami on the Yahoo thread has an intriguing idea. He thinks the "private investment" is by Vahak Hovnanian, who sold 343,000 shares at $7 per share in February. What a scam if true -- sell 343,000 shares to the public at $7 and then turn around and use the $2 million in sales proceeds to buy newly issued shares at $1 or $2.
