Pat,

The -.39 was bad but the conference call will make the difference. I saw it trading afterhours at 30 1/2 up 3/4. I think they will do good tomorrow but should not impact rest of SOX. They will be pumping out those K6-233 that I could pick up for $135 and use in socket 7. Pentium IIs are still $250 higher which is not worth the difference. So they have an edge.

This won't generate new PC business just take away from INTEL.

I think MU will be unaffected by AMD tomorrow... though, if there is a POP in SOXX tomorrow that would pull MU up. MU seems to be tracking with SOX with a higher beta.
